What is the most popular Camino route

Wednesday, January 15th, 2014

I saw a link on Facebook asking “What is the most popular Camino route?”

Here is the link to some of the answers. CaminoWays.com

Since these are the stats for 2012 I was one of the other 134,979 pilgrims that made it to Santiago.
It took me about 7 weeks to walk from St.Jean Pied-de-Port.
That means there could have been about 18,000 people at that time.
My walk was about 550 miles. That means I could have met 33 people every mile or 22 every kilometer.

I am sorry I only remember about 40 of your names.
