Gaia’s Garden, Auroville, India

We took a train directly to near Auroville from Madurai. We stayed there the first ten days as we waited for a Vipassana course to begin in Chennai. We stayed at a guest house, Gaia’s Garden, where we have stayed before. When we returned from Vipassana, we stayed there again. These pictures give you a flavor of the guest house and its gardens.

Another potted bush on the rooftop terrace. We did yoga next to these two bushes almost every day. We had to wear our light jackets to keep warm in the morning haze as we started. By the time we finished a little over an hour later, the coats had long been removed and we were hot. (27 Jan 2014)
