| I turned right again and walked up into a housing area without an exit. So I turned around and went back and turned right walked in to another dead end. So I decided to go back toward the Ranger's Station and go the other way. I already knew where I was because I heard the Construction going up on 89A. I started going toward 89A. Yes, up hill. I saw a Burger King up by the highway. Since my water was in the car, what at this point seems hundred miles away. I needed so water. | ||
| They were having a bad at Burger King. I guess a couple of the help were late and they did not see me come in. Remember it is only around eight o'clock in the morning and it is Monday on top of it. The drive up window was busy and the lady was taking care of them. And here I stand dieing of thirst. Poor Marty! Seemed like hours. Maybe 5 minutes. I got a Sprite and rested for a while. I remembered I had my GPS with me and I should have not got lost in the subdivision. | ||
| I looked to get my bearings and started walking to get back
to the car. Because knew where I was, I knew it was all up hill. Oh well,
just keep going and take it easy. It was 8:45am at Burger Kin. It might
have been 9:30 - 9:45 before I got back. When back to the car I went to the motel to finish packing the car. I ran into Krista, another one of us seminarians, and talked for a while. Then we went to the motel breakfast shop and met some other people form the Seminar. We talked until maybe 11:30am. We hugged and said good-by. |

| I checked out of the motel and call Matt, My boss, to see
what was happening at work. I decided to check out the fabric shop before I left town. I went to the "Quilt Shop" and found 1000's of different fabrics. After talking to the clerk to find some neat patterns, I must have bought enough fabric to make 10 more shirts. I best get on the stick and start sewing again. By the time I was finished here it must have been almost 2:00pm. I headed to The Coffee Pot Café for lunch. My hostess friend was busy so I did not get time to thank her. After Lunch I left to go home. |

| I headed north on 89A stopping at Slide Rock State Park for a while . This Oak Creek the forms Oak Creek Canyon that go right down to Sedona. |  |

| I continued north and got stuck in Flagstaff. I kept turning
the wrong way. Finely I was on I40 going east. So here I am at Motel 6 in Giants, NM at 11:30pm AZ time. Good Night! |
